01 Liberty RX sub install

Post by Clarkey147 » Wed Feb 18, 2009 8:53 am

I want to take the sub out of my old car and put it in my new liberty, i was wondering if the factory fitted head unit has a pre out on it or if there was a way to wire it up using the existing head unit.
main reason for this is because i dont have the money at the moment to buy a new head unit. i will be buying one in the near future though so it will just be a short term fix.
also can someone direct me to a guide on how pull the head unit out of my liberty? have looked but there doesnt seam to be any guides around.

thanks in advance

I don't know if there are preamp outs on the stereo, but I haven't seen a factory one that has them yet. But there is another solution, which is a speaker level to rca adaptor like the one here. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... rm=KEYWORD
