Can I run two head units at the same time on the same speakers? I have a rubbish dvd head unit and a separate dvd screen, I have put in the invertor and an AV switcher so I could plug in my wdtv player for viewing movies on my phd, but I want to put in my Alpine HU for dedicated sound, plus it has Ipod control and blue...tooth. Any help would be appreciated. Also wondering if I can get a digital or remote AV switcher...

auxilary in on your alpine deck to the auxilary out on the screen. Use the dvd player to play the physical dvd and show the picture, use the head unit to control all the sound.

thats how im running mine in my lib.
