2011 Forester optional navigation upgrade (or is that downgrade?)

Hi all,
I know the 2011 Forester optional nav kit doesn't have USB in.. but does it play MP3's from a CD/DVD?

If it is the same as the one in the WRX ( I am sure it is ) than yes, it plays MP3's, you can make folders etc as well
