Im not sure what you are trying to acheive... the roof is going to flex no matter what u do.
Best thing i found to do was to remove the roof lining and check the condition of where the roof beams are glued to the tin... in alot of cases they come unstuck and make excessive vibration... using sickaflex in between the beams and the roof tin is perfect to fix this.
When i had my extream system in my subi wagon the roof was the least of my worries... stopping the change in my coin holder from rattling at the keys on my key ring was my main problems.

i was going to do one sub either side of the back... but because of the rattling and everything i just left it at one
its at the stage where its pushing the windows in and out of the top door seals and the exterior touring wagon mouldings are vibrating now ... more work to do
i reckon i will get around to doing the whole carbut only had enough for the front doors tailgate and roof
will be getting another bulk pack off you when funds allow 8O

I've decided to do this to my brumby when I get home so does any one have a rough calculation of the cab surface area excluding the glass of course, for the doors I will be doing a double layer.
87 targa brumby (Neglected),
92 targa brumby (weekend runabout),
97 Lifted Outback (Dailey drive),
05 outback safety (Too cheap to pass up),
90 model liberty (was to be scrapped instead sold to workmate)
+ others.
