whole door trim needs to come off. remove all the screws you can find, the surround around the door handle, and then the rest unclips.

Its a '92 lib. Havent got the new speakers in yet, Ethan (ol Kid) My brother pulled it apart and decided to put the speakers in the back as they were 6 and a half inch splits, Wouldnt fit in the front.

when i do get the front ones in ill take some pics and put them up.

Cheers

Yeh i did sit the speakers in and the magnet hit on the inside of the window. If you put the window up it would fit in but in turn your window wouldnt go right down. Cheers Ethan

get spacers. Nearly every car needs them.

I did my sister's gen1 a while ago and they needed about 2cm worth of spacing. But it depends on what speakers your running.

most importantly make sure you get an airtight fit inbetween the door and the speaker. You will loose alot of bass otherwise.

Thanks mate. Do they need to be angled of just flat? Im not that worried bout losing bass cause it hits about 125 db from the sub. Cheers Ethan

flat ones will get you out of trouble. You still want abit of midrange though. Its all about SQ, not pure ear-bleeding ground shaking bass!!(although im abit partial to this myself:))

cheers
