Howdy,
My name is Don and I live in Simi Valley, California USA.
I have three great Subaru cars.
A 1983 BRAT which is completely original, has the EA81T engine (turbocharged, automatic transmission and Single-Range 4WD) and plenty of other original options for its day. It was sold new at the Subaru Dealer in West Los Angeles (near LAX) and has not ever been used off road.
A 1991 Legacy L - also completely original but for 2002 WRX 16' wheels and appropriate 205x60 series Bridgestone tires. It is FWD only which makes it a bit lighter than the AWD/4WD models of the era and thus averages about 33 mpg.
A 2001 Outback Limited - completely original with almost all options except for not equipped with the H-6 or the VDC. It is the clearcoated Black with a Charcoal leather interior.
All are great cars!!!
I have a couple of other cars but they would probably not be of much interest to a Soobie aficionado!!!
Best wshes to all,
Don Cordier

hi there everyone.
my name is joel, and i've just been staying quite for a bit. my wife and i live in pleasanton, ca. i have a 1999 impreza RS. my wife and i are REALLY looking to move to the brisbane area in 2 or 3 years.
primarily, we are a toyota family (specifically the aw11 mr2s), but a buddy allowed me to test drive his 2000RS, and i knew that i had to have one.
my wife currently has her 'mad scientist' project nearly driveable... 1989 AWD 5-spd Turbo Camry.
later on, i'll post pix and details of the whole family.
with added pix of our kittens!

we definitely want to get away from the insane politics of the US... and, everything i've read/heard about australia paints it to be far more ideal.chubby37 wrote:welcome to the subaru family...hope to meet and greet you guys when you come to brissy....you,ll like it here..
and the fact that you guys have real rally, that is a HUGE plus for me.

Hi all.
I'm Hayden, 32yo, 1st year apprentice panel beater. I'm from Werribee, Vic.
I don't own a Subie, my mum does. Seeing as I'm the 'car guy' in the family, the responsability of sorting out the cars falls onto me. Lol.
It's a '92 (?) L series wagon. White with blue interior. We have owned it for bout 1 1/2 yrs.
Will post pix soon & tell ya more bout it.
Cheers till then,
Hayden.

Hey,
My name is Justin and i'm from Adelaide. I joined this forum in June.
I currently drive an 02 Subaru Outback white/grey, 5spd, bullbar, spotties and I also own an import 1985 L series RX Turbo coupe. The coupe is stock and has a lift kit.
I previously owned a 93 L series Spotswagon. Silver 5spd, dual range, 2in lift, 14's, bullbar, spotties, cargo barrier. It also had a full instrument import dashboard (tacho, fuel, oil, volt, temp).
I'm also currently looking for a late model Brumby to add to the collection.
Cheers,

Hello and question from the states.
Hello from sunny Florida,at least when were not in hurricane season.
Bought my 08 Foz about 6 months ago and wanted to off road it but the wife wasn't having any part of that so I bought my 01(4 months ago) off Ebay and
and proceeded to hydrolock the engine in a mud pit 3 months after i got it.
It blew apart 2 weeks later and wrecked a perfectly good day.
Got an 04 EJ25 and changed it out (no more deep water for me til I get a snorkel) and it's running like a champ.
Now I got a question,I want to make a set of top mount strut lift blocks but I'm not sure what the offset should be to keep the camber correct.
Anybody know how much per inch it should be?

I was actually filming when it happened.
