evening all,
been looking at this site for a while, decided it was time to join. i have a little L series that i bought last year, my first car to own (bro named it Nigel). fixed it up a bit, small lift and bigger wheels, (which we painted gold to mimick the wrx rims, just need a set of the scorpion rims now :-D). havn't done anything too stupid in it yet, except take on a couple of hilux's on in a hilclimb at yeagarup dunes. needless to say we won.

i am keen to drop in an EJ at some stage, i am sure i will be needing plenty of help and seems like everyone here is happy to put in their 2c worth. but that wont be happening any time soon on my uni budget. and can't really see the point when the motor has only just clocked 210k and hasn't missed a beat yet.

i see some of the WA fellas do the odd trip up around lancelin way, i am keen to join you guys on one of those trips some time. learn more about the way of the subi
and one of Nigel:

G'day mate. I'm up in Geraldton here. Nice L by the way. What are you doing at uni? I'm moving down next year, doing my gap year ATM to help pay 4 it and my Forester mods. If your ever up this way let me know, we might be able to do a day trip or something.

Hey mate,
Welcome to the site. Nice ride. As you said everyone is more than happy to help and give advise. Also we often do weekend trips but at the moment most of us, RSR555, Wagonman, Dann and myself are or will soon be busy with our EJ conversions:p

This is a great place to learn more about your car and mod it to the max, and show all those toyota and nissan owners what our little subies are capable of:D

hey mate welcome :p
As guys said we are often doing trips, but yes some of us are doing our first or second for sum EJ conversions, as for me i'm doing my first EJ conversion learning loads and have lots of fun doing it, once most of us are done i'm sure there will be loads more trips being planned.

hope to catch ya out there sometime soon

cheers :)

i have exams coming up in the next month or so, so the car isn't going to be seeing much action then anyway:sad:. i am studying mechatronics, 2nd year at curtin.
i would be up for that if i am ever up that way tazza, i will keep it in mind.

and i am slightly jealous of you guys doing your EJ's, but i am sure it will give me something to go off when the funds and time allow me to do mine. just out of interest, roughly how much does a conversion cost?

i am sure i will see you guys around on the dirt at some point anyway :)
