Hi all,
I've been an L Series fan for many years, and am currently on my 3rd wagon.
Having done a couple of EJ conversions (EJ - EA Gearbox) for other people, I have started my own conversion.
I'm dumping a manual Bug-Eye WRX driveline into my wagon, and am fairly well down the line with the job.
Build thread to follow...

Welcome. Cool, sounds awesome. Look forward to seeing the build thread. Interested to see how you sort out the hydraulic clutch setup, that's always a bit of fun!

Took a bit of measuring, but I worked it out.
Modified WRX pedal box, cut a slot in the wheel well, fabricated a box and welded it in.
Seam sealed and painted to match.
Naturally, the dump pipe will be wrapped and shielded, as will the hydraulic line.
Some sample pics, I will create a build thread in the near future.

Ah now that is cool. I've only seen that done once before. I played around with doing it myself before I'd seen anyone else do it but I wasn't game to cut through the wheel well and didn't have a lot of time to spend on it.
Instead I chopped up the L series pedal, and a Liberty pedal and welded them together to make a Frankenstein pedal which has been working great.

Nice! Goes to show that there is more than one way to skin a cat.
FYI, I started my build thread in the EJ conversion section. Would be interested to see any pics of yours...
*** EDIT, I just found your build threads, seems you like the more challenging jobs as well
