G'day all,
we recently upgraded from a 2017 to a 2022 model, lots of nice changes and a very smart car. It certainly goes better and the new Trans is very slick.
We decided to get ceramic paint protection as we live rural and its only under a shed roof at night. To date the paint protection works brilliant! all the bugs and poo etc just wash straight off. I am hoping it continues.
Ours is a mid spec but has a heap more stuff than the old ones, it has foldable mirrors but with a switch on door. I soon found an aftermarket module that you fit in the door and makes it into a auto folding set up as you lock or unlock. Cool!

That’s a neat mod with the auto folding mirrors. I wonder why Subaru didn’t include this in the factory setup? Could it be because you have the mid range spec as you said above?
It’s good to hear you’re impressed with the gearbox. I’ve heard many say the CVT isn’t much chop, but they’re still producing it so it must be doing good things for a long time.
