[quote="Venom"]G'day guys,
My name's Rhys, i live in Ballarat in Victoria. I've been flogging my '93 Magna in the Otways:D and have decided to sell it and go for something a little more appropriate for the beaten track. So i bought a '92 L Series which i pick up this Sunday, in anticipation i've been reading through the forums looking for possible mods.

_

Thats one very nice looking L" wagon you have got yourself there mate.
Rik.

Hi all,

Been roving around for a while, thought i'd intro myself... Names Andrew, live in Melb, and got myself a 92L wagon (with only 145,000kms on it, and what i'm told is a sought after rear cargo blind thingy), replaced the stereo, changing the wheels over to RX H-alloys (something diff), and have to fix a clunk in the front left (think its the stabaliser/sway bar mounts) and then I'll be happy (unless someone knows how to get more power out of EA82 carby without engine swapping - and yes i've pretty much accepted it ain't gonna happen)

Cheers

G'day all. My name is Chris and I live near the northern end of Jefferies track in southern Tassie.
Only just bought driving an '85 L series 5sp D/R wagon, need it to get up my driveway! Wagon is standard, apart from alloy roo bar on the front. Will mod as time goes on and finances improve.
Did a refuel today, impressed at 36L for 402 km, that equates to 31.5mpg in the old money. Not bad for a second hand 1800 carbie model.
Cheers for now.

Hi,
My name's Darren, and I just retired my poor old '85 touring wagon, due to it's serious cancer issues :((
Never mind, found a *very* clean '89 Tourer with a busted donk, swapped the broken bottom end for the good one outta the old bus, fitted new lifters and oil pump, turned the key and back in business.
Why Battlewagon? Because I use my subie to carry my R/C scale combat warships around.
