kevin and the Austin
Kevin had to pull my dads 1952 Austin sheerline out of the shed and up the hill ready to sell it along with our VS commodore so that he could buy a 93 GQ patrol which is currantly getting a very slow build up.

kevin as of a few weeks ago
This is how kevin looked a few weeks ago. As he sits today the mods and fixes are:
bullbar.
rear bar off l series.
rear wheel carrier.
driving lights.
upgraded indicaters, brake, tail, reverse, and number plate lights to L.E.D.
upgraded H4 altezza headlights with super white 90/100w globes.
2.5 inch exhaust with one hotdog and a straght through off set muffler (loud).
lots of bits and pieces repainted.
rubberised bittumen sound deadning on the whole floor, this is my carpet.
lots of interior pieces restoed and painted with vynle paint.
sony headunit and two 6.5 inch speakers.
RMW seat covers.
all rust fixed which was a lot!
and over 20 road worthy things which i've got three left.
thats all that I can think at the moment and i'll try to get some interior pics and one of the new headlights.

yeh mate the plan is a 6 inch lift and 31's that should fill the guards up nicely, but first I just need to get it on the road.

Nice job from when you got the car to now.
Another MY still on the road.
NOTE - Anyone got a rear wheel carrier like this one they want to sell me ?
Mitchhsj - "haha kevin, best name for a car! haha. i have a 3 inch complete body lift in a box in the shed with pump up rear shocks [not sure if they still work] if you want to lift it any time soon.. "
Pump up rear shocks.... any details like brand and part number. I am guessing you are talking about air adjustable with hoses coming off them ?
I know they used to be available but cant find any info on them.

Kevin looks sweet.
Air shocks are sweet. I have them. Just gotta set the torsion bar tension VS air pressure ratio right... bout 40psi and half tension or less...
More weight in the back the better still but.

nah air shocks are old as and shot, but yea that had hoses running out to the rear tow bar to pump up. this thing i pulled apart was a hard core bit of gear. it also had l series from strut tops and they were modifyed to fit my.. any idea why they had that? i think the strut itself was still my but just the tops were replaced....?
