As BK has said - it'd be a kit or replacement light housing. I had the same on my torana - new housing that was semi sealed. Saved me a fortune on blowing old headlights!

Before looking at Kevin's images I thought it was the quad lights - in which case you can find factory sets that are semi sealed on other 80's vehicles that also have the quad lights. They're pretty much a standard size but do double check if you're going down this route!

The only issue with semi sealed is when you get water in them, muddy water especially!

And Kevin: Ooh! Shiny!!!

Cheers

These are just stranded size 7x5" rectangle headlights that are semi sealed with H4 90/100w globes that I bought separately, the headlights just bolt in no cutting or anything and are the same as Hilux, Hiace, Navara, Triton, Courier, Early Supra, TF Rodeo, Gemini, MK Patrol and heaps more I bought my dad the round version for his GQ Patrol with 130w globes and there unreal.

Excellent; common, plentiful and impressive performance that's what I like to hear :) With these now powerful lights I assume you can still adjust them properly so you don't blind other drivers?

Another thing to add to my list :p

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400316326285 ... 1423.l2649

ad says they are for the mighty boy but they are the same lights as the MY series, ebay search for 7x6 or 200mm x 142mm semi sealed headlights.

if any one is interested in a 1993 GQ patrol i've got one for sale, it will parse roadworthy with a change of steering wheel as it had one a year ago and hasent even done 1000ks since, and its just come back from bendigo dyno tune where it got a tune and some new parts. starter was replaced not long ago, has a couple of upgrades.

Well done mate! We've got the Sandpit for testing things like this out ;)

I forgot that you were in benders, I'll have to keep an eye out for you when I'm down that way. You might see Ruby Scoo around from time to time...

Cheers

hey everyone its been a long time since I've done an update because I've been so busy, I've spent the whole day today fibre glassing around my windscreen ready for my new windscreen to go in. ill take some pictures soon and let them do the talking. I took Kevin for his second RWC test and they gave me another list of things to do so I was pretty bummed about that but I have almost finished every thing that's needed and ill try again probably in about 2 weeks

also replaced my clutch with an exedy heavy duty clutch, I bought a clutch that apparently would fit my car but it was 25mm to small, which means my car takes the same size clutch as an l series so in a way its a good thing because it means I have a bigger more heavy duty clutch. so I ended up havening to buy 2 clutches. if anyone wants a brand new 200mm clutch you can come get it for $50 or swap for something.

New windscreen has gone in along with a new rubber, so now it doesn't leak every time it rains. I don't know why but I've decided to go the opposite direction with Kevin I'm no longer lifting it, I'm lowering it, front and rear bars are off and I just bought some 14x8 rims, Kevin's going JDM!

Going to look for a front air dam and side skirt kit?

You'd fit in to the Bender's cruising scene in a lowered subi rather than a lifted subi ;)

Got any pics of your progress/where the vehicle's at?

Cheers

I'd love to get a front spoiler for it but I cant see myself finding one! :(
The reason I'm going this way with it now is because all my mates have lowered cars and would have been the only one with a 4wd.
I will try and post up some pictures soon :D

Well, I was the only one in my group with a 4wd... Now there's two of us! Gotta start the bug somewhere ;)

Your wagon should look sick lowered if you do it right ;)
