Looking great mate! I hope it's been turning heads!

Cheers

Bennie
when your limping along the road at half the speed you should be going and the front of your car hanging off and your bonnet tied down with rope, you do get heads turning!

Aw, I hate seeing old Subies smashed up like that :( What a shame. Is there much major damage underneath? easily repairable with a new fender and a light?
Will it ever end!?

Man u've done so much and the pain of the blue slips... Doesn't look good from what little I know of the MY.

Don't give up on Kevin. Just another bump on the road so to speak.

The front sub frame where the bumper bolts on is crumpled, the guard is a write off ill also need all the lights for that side and the headlight bracket, the bonnet is repairable, but still unsure of the extent of the damage.

Not good! I feel for you, mate. I had someone run into the back of my Forester. Even though in my case the smash was not so bad and parts are generally easier to find, it hurts to see your pride and joy damaged...

I hope you're able to restore it to its glory!

Pedro.

I gave Kevin a wash to get all the mud and bits of tree off.

You can tell by the guard how much its been pushed in and down:( I've already fixed the bonnet a bit just by bending it so it should come up alright with a bit of work

Ouch. That's nasty. Looks like you got away with no damage to the radiator?

I believe toonga has a nice triplet of headlights that would go nicely on the nose of your beast ;)

Regards

yeah luckily no damage to the rad, the thermo fans are about 7mm from the pulleys on the front of the engine so I only just got away with it. I'm only spending the minimum amount I have to so no new headlights for me!

I took them off just because I wanted it looking a bit cleaner but I'm regretting it now  they passed roadworthy no probs.

I actually loved the rear bar... I wouldn't be game enough doing it to mine but looked quite good with the tyre rack also :)

well as it seems I change my mind a lot, seeing that the body isn't perfect anymore I've decided to go back to the 4wd option. so the bulbar is on and I cut the guards and used a BFH to make my 14x7" rims with 27" BFG AT fit. I still have to flare out the front guards because the tyres hit when it flexes.
