Hi guys, I have been giving the car a bit of a spruce up over the last few months, since the mot ran out. The back arches got new metal where needed, and we took off the wings and valance to clean and freshen up everything. Lots of cleaning, and preservation for the future done to prolong the life of the old wagon! heres a few pics

I done the same as you unfortunately. The only repair work was the back arches, everything else was tip top condition. There is a bad winter forecast, so the l series will be handy on school runs now!

That's a good looking touring wagon! There's something about the touring wagons in white...
Look after that beast!
Cheers

the only salt we get is on our chips. lol.
Nice car.
White is a strange colour Once I was about to buy a Chrysler 300 and it was going to be cream. Just looked awesome and classy. That Subie looks clean and tidy in white. But some cars in white dont cut it.
The high roof is great. pardon my ignorance but is that the main difference in a touring wagon as opposed to just wagons?

Over here the touring wagon is kind of what a statesman is to a commodore so to speak.
The touring wagon (and GL's, it's technically a GL) gets carpet, some "fancy" fabric for the seats, electric windows and mirrors, EFI was an option (MPFI), map reading lights, 4 speaker sound "system", the roof bump that easily distinguishes them over the DL bog standard wagon and I believe that two "tone" colour coded bumpers were an option too. That's all I can think of at the moment for the touring wagon.
I think that roof bump somehow makes them more elegant or something...
