No mate, it isn't a Tourer. Just a Gx liberty. Or in your part of the world, A Legacy. LOL.

Yeah Mark.. your Legacy low roofs were never available here in Aus so the high roof model (Touring Wagon JDM & USDM) are just Liberty's to usT'subaru wrote:Heres what we have for a roof line on our Legacys, looks like the uk version is different

you can run about a 28'' tyre but you need gen2 outback struts to do this!! also it is best if you are going to run that bigger rubber to convert to 4.11 ratio as 3.9 is i little tall. i am running 215/65/16 on mine which is 27''. search on here, vincentvega has covered it a few times.guyph_01 wrote:Hey mate,
What size tyres are you using? We lifted a liberty by two inch and trying to get the biggest tyres to fit.
Thx

If you want to get the rear wheels to sit back in the centre of the wheel arch
you can either change the lift kit blocks on the trailing arm mounts from two to three inch blocks, or fit some Gen1 Outback trailing arm mounts instead, the part numbers for the outback mounts are
20520AC030 --- RH
20520AC040 --- LH
Off the top of my head I think they are about a 100 bucks for the pair.
Cheers Grant

That is what we are looking into. The outback trailing arm mounts. Thanks for the info though.
It does, doesn't it, that is what happens when you just do bolts up. Then get it back on its boots, and take a pic before looking and adjusting. LOLRSR 555 wrote:That pics looks a bit wonky :S

Hey Mate, If you are willing to hang on to them for a little longer. He is very interested in them . His Mrs car just dropped reverse in the auto, so it needs to be fixed first.ScubyRoo wrote:I have a set of said trailing arm mounts - $75 inc postage....

Popped a seal in the auto , so out comes the box and replace the seal. That makes it 2 auto gear box's out of 3 auto cars that have had to have work done on them. It is a good learning experience . Learn learn learn..

Yeah, we are finding out. It has happened to all 3 auto liberty's so far. just got to two of them so far. At least once they done, we don't have to worry about them for awhile. Also it good practice.vincentvega wrote:the old back to back seals. so your front diff filled up with trans fluid? pretty common occurance
