From memory the neutral wire is for 2 reasons..

1.. The cruise control (turn off if accidentally knock into neutral)

2.. Lowers engine revs when idle for more than 20 seconds (keeping engine coolant temp down)

Oil light and temp are now wired to computer. Also in the middle of making and fitting a earthing kit.

Getting to the point of being able to see the final form. Then quickly replicate for the other side. I'm pretty pleased with the design, especially considering it's just made up as I go along...

Earthing kit now finished and wired in. Now half way through cutting down and putting together the L series shifter set. Even making it a bit towards a short shift.

A couple of clearer photos of the bar corner as it has now shaped up. Hopefully I can get the other side to look half as good...

Gear stick set and range lever all cut down and now installed.

Engine stay rod cut and remade up to suit this set up.

Here is a pic of what the gearbox lock will look like once mounted in the dash.

The air cleaner was just not going to fit right, so I hacked it apart to see why and put it back together the best I could manage...

The first image is actually the modified air cleaner, sitting where it should.

We think it looks the part. With a little bit of adjustment it seems to fit really well.

Hey guys,

Love the look of the sump bash guard, went onto the crossbred site and it says they have ones for forrester and outback, (no liberty) will these fit? if not how did you manage to acquire your one?

Cheers

Can't wait to see the finished product because so far it is looking great

It must be a outback plate. Not much difference between outback and liberty. All you have to do is contact Jeff at CROSSBRED and let him know what you have and he will let you know which one you will need.
