Doesn't matter in the end how much rust we find. Nothing's going to be bogged over, EVERYTHING that looks the least bit corroded will be sliced out entirely and replaced with new steel, then fully treated so it doesn't happen again. When it goes out the door all shiny and painted, it will be just like all the others (all steel, all welded, just like it's supposed to be).

Now, I can't wait to do the "rust hunt"... Never know what you'll find.
Steve.

After shoveling and wheelbarrowing about 15 loads of road base to get the shed ready to lay more concrete, which we hope to have ready at the time the brumby is ready to spray. More room to move when spraying.

Ross and myself got in some time on the car . Not much left to remove now . Brake lines and fuel lines. Once front is up , the front end and rear end will come out. Also so had a chance to take some paint off.

This is a slow process , but we are moving forward. The good thing is , haven't found any rust as yet. Still might open the major rust area's up just to make sure. No point in fixing it than have rust come through in 6 months.

Wow you blokes move fast. It looks like back breaking work. It's certainly looking shiny. Only a couple more sleeps now and I get to see scrappy in the flesh. Looking good guys, keep up the good work.

Cheers

After Ross and i had a Tradies Ute to respray last week , we can start back on the brumby. So today Ross and myself put the front end up on the cooker and stripped the rest of the stuff off of it.. Then started to flush the rails and any other places that can hold dirt.

I wasn't there to supervise so I hope you put all that dirt on the gardens. Looks like damn good soil... It's a wonder there weren't things growing in the Brumby.

I believe one of us needs supervision to get things done. That person turns up after lunch which only allows for only a couple of hours of work getting done. When they do turn up, that persons talks for an hour , before doing anything . So that even means less getting done.
You whistle and i will point to who it is.

Supervise = sit on ya butt and watch other people do the work... AND, I said I "wasn't there". So what's your point really???

Jeez, it's a good thing a bloke can't be gaoled (jailed, for any Americanised people) for trying some light hearted humour...
Steve.
