Thanks . We just have a passion for what we do , and we don't charge labor as we are on pensions. It is our way to feel like we earn our income, and give back to the people that pay our incomes. We are on disability pensions , so we cant do it as fast or as flash as pro's, but we put our best efforts in.

The door and bonnet is now finished. A couple of little spots left and all the paint is off.

We didn't get anything done on the brumby today as we were getting ready for a trip tomorrow. Getting a trailer for one car and a permit for another. We also trailed a brumby to the shed that requires a paint job. If things work right, the both will be undercoated and painted at the same time.

Sounds good rick, but those words would be SO much better if there were pictures with the words.

Which words do you mean , that are needing pics. There is a pic of the brumby that is talked about needing a paint job.

Hey Chridk,
Since the trip was washed out , do to road cut by water.

I would prefer not to go for a record. Then again , with the nasty i came across to day in the second brumby, it may go back to one. We will look for 2 more days and see what we find, then it is up to the owner if we continue .

Wow they look a whole lot straiter than when they came out. Are they the same sills that came out and were bashed strait or were new ones fabricated?

Cheers

That is the same sill. No new metal has been put in yet. All the original metal is magic so far.

This brumby wasn't economical to fix, so striped it out and removed the tray to use on this project and the rest was removed to the wreckers the way we usually do , to be used for scrap..

No mucking around there guys. Do you think it will be faster to do a cut and shut than straitening out all the little dints in the tray?

Straightening it will be better. The tray cut is the metal for the wheel well to be put into yours. Saves some dollars and it already has the strength with the folds in the metal .
