Since my M.Y. turbo wagon is sold, it was time to get a replacement.I thought it was time to move forward some what. I picked up a standard gen 1 liberty wagon Awd auto. To me it is a good starting point and in time i will turn it into the car i wont it to be. Just like i did with the M.Y. So here is the replacement.

A splash of blue paint, some bigger wheels and tyres, a nice shiney nudge bar and winch, and stick it all up in the air a few more inches... It'll be more like Ross's car then.

Ross and i went through some of the things we had here, to see if we could put together something decent, to make the wagon look alittle better.

Noice!

I see a lot of potential sitting there. Will you boys still be restoring the old faithful MY's or skip over the Ls and start resorting Liberty's etc?

I'll be keen to see what you've got instore for this subi!

Cheers

Hey Bennie, We will still be playing with the M.Y.'s. All the cars that turn up to have repairs or work done on them , all seem to be brumbys. So we really dont have a choice. LOL.

The libertys is a new starting point for us. Time for us to learn something new.

Yesterday we mounted the nudge bar up totally, so today we wired up the spot lights. Also mounted a transmission cooler to help keep the auto fluid cool.

Hey mate,

What size tyres are you using? We lifted a liberty by two inch and trying to get the biggest tyres to fit.
Thx

At the moment, the best fit i have found, is a 205 width tire. The ones on the car now are 205/70/15 on a off set the same as a forester GT wheel. Cant remember if it is a 48 or a 38 off set.

Hey Mark,

No mate, it isn't a Tourer. Just a Gx liberty. Or in your part of the world, A Legacy. LOL.
