Looks great mate, it's amazing how those wheels look better on the cars they weren't designed to go on, or maybe it's just the dark blue:-D

The wheels do , dont they, or it could be the wheels and the blue.LOLd_generate wrote:Looks great mate, it's amazing how those wheels look better on the cars they weren't designed to go on, or maybe it's just the dark blue:-D
Thanks Mark. I like the colour, but the quality isn't perfect up close.T'subaru wrote:Nice ride Rick, I like your color choices and quality of work.

The gear box is going great so far. Alittle whine in low range and little stiff in the changes. I think the stiffness is due to not having a outback/forester shifter. Shifter not set low enough.AlpineRaven wrote:Oh how is the gearbox going?

Thanks Andrew, Like i said a couple of post back, the paint job not perfect up close. I need to sand the clear more. It was only a quick job to make it look better for the roadworthy and make it my colour. LOL.AndrewT wrote:Great job on the paint. Agreed with the comments on the wheels - these are my favorite OEM Subaru wheel. I was so heartbroken having to take mine off my Legacy (didn't clear the 4pot calipers I upgraded to).
It is to.Thanks for reminding me. Now to find a nice clear pic of it blue.RSR 555 wrote:Time to update the avatar Rick

I'd love a set of those forester seats in my L!

How do they go in terms of keeping you in tight when the road gets bendy? I tend to slide around a bit in my outback seats...rtcb65 wrote:He Bennie,
I like them. They are one of the nicest seats i have sat in. Even over long distance , i don't get the strain in the back from sitting for a long time. Now in saying that, i haven't had alot of experience across a large range of cars , so i can only speak from personal experience.
They do very well for me. Then again, i fill out the seat to the edge, middle age spread. LOL. When i had them in the M.Y. they worked well in the bush. Kept me contained well , so i could concentrate on where i was going, instead of trying to stay in my seat.ScubyRoo wrote:How do they go in terms of keeping you in tight when the road gets bendy?
