Slowly , but still moving forward, the last couple of days have seen the boot painted with body deadner to give impact protection and cut the road noise down . Then once dry, gave it all a good coat of chassis black to seal it up.

what are the tires u have there .name of them as are a good tread .
i just put some 195 x 75 "14" .but my off set is out with my rims and i get a bit of tire rub .
i read on this site that http://www.exploroz.com/Vehicle/Tyres/SizeCalc.aspx that 27x8.5 "14 are the same as 215 75 "14 " but i can not run them as i have not got the off set on my rims .
will start work on my rx soon and start to cut the rust out of the back tool box and guards.
very good looking work there ,

Hey Phil, I am sorry to say, the tires that are on this car are only 13's and the tires are not available any more. The ones you see are the last ones that could be bought in our town. They are only on the car till we get some 14's for the rims we now have .

Ross and i removed the rest that was still in the car and layed down some body deadner for better sound quietening and then put some chassis black with fish oil in it to seal off the deadner and rust protection.

One step further along. Today We sprayed the body deadner on the sills to protect them.

Sanded the leone back and gave it another coat of under coat today. Just to make sure nothing was in the under coat from it sitting for awhile. Hopefully we will be sanding it back in 2 days to lay the color coats on.

Hey Mate,

No it isnt the same as yours is going to be, unless you have changed your mind. The silver on this one is a light color ,compared to what you have showed me ,that is going on yours.

Now we have a few more panels done. All left is to put clear coat on the body and then give all the clear coat a rub back and then a buff cut.

Just thought I'd pop on & let everyone know how happy our daughter is with the way her car is turning out. She absolutely loves the colour her Dad & Rick are putting on the car for her. She has just about finished year 12 at school & is going for her driving test next week, she'll soon be able to drive her own purple beast, Louie as she has nicknamed it.
