So the trailer is ready at a minutes notice , Ross done some much need maintenance on it.( He is very multi skilled , isn't he..lol..) While he was doing that i grabbed the sander and took some paint off the car to see what was need to get ready for the paint of it. The front guard is 2/3 bog and the bonnet is dinted and bent some what. I found another guard we had packed away to replace the one on the car.

Spent some time over the weekend on the leone. Sanded the roof back and laied some undercoat on to protect any bare areas. Now it is time to go over it and find any dints and so on.

Now that the dollars have been found to get the paint, we can spend some time on the Leone . We sanded it back and laid another couple of coats of undercoat ready for the color. Removed the doors and etc to be preped.

The last coats of undercoat are now on the shell.

Started sanding the insides of the doors to see what would be found . We found something.

if thats the worst you could find Rick, then I think you should go and get a beer and sit down for a while, take a load off, your working to hard mate.
You should be very happy with that little rust.

Hey Rik, That's not quite all. There's the same in each door and the usual in each windscreen lower corner. I agree , compared to most M.Y's , it is in very good nick.

Hey Tristan, Not sound deadner, it is a mix of chassis black and fish oil. The black is just to save the cost on paint , since that part doesn't get seen anyway. The fish oil is to try to stop/slow down rust.

Fantastic work fellas. Those rust repair sections really are something else.

Love the whiteboard in the background of that last pic too.
