If you want to make it "roll-able". Main thing u will need to look at is it's fluids. When Jonno rolled it was not a big problem... only thing was he had no brake fluide... no coolant in the overflow and needed to top up the oil. These things need to seal in so they can;t get out.

EJ conversion wiring harness cut downs available. Please PM or email (davem2000@hotmail.com) for details.
I'll definitely look at those things.
Just to clarify...I certainly don't "intend" to roll it....thats just dangerous!
I just want the thing to survive easily in the event that it did happen at low speed.

if it rolls u shudnt lose brake fluid they shuld all have sealed caps. and if urs dont u shuld definetely look at that coz that is dangerous
the coolant overflow needs to breathe - if u think u shuld no why.
oil...well u dont really want ur engine running when the cars overturned neway.

Bit of an update on the EJ22 conversion.
- EJ22 motor is out of the Lib donor car and on the garage floor (thanks Dave, Alex and especially Matt for helping with this).
- Flywheel - I've started filing out the holes, hopefully get this finished in the next few days
- Clutch is still at the clutch place but sposed to be ready in a few days
- PS lines are at ENZED getting the ends chopped and swapped
- Lib wiring harness is in Subarino's very capable hands for cutting down

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Some more progress this evening;
- Flywheel got all holes elongated (god dam my arm is tired from all the filing now!) Flywheel is torqued up to the back of the EJ22 with lok-tite and all.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~carine3/IMAGE_098.jpg
I'll give it a quick wipe over with some fine sandpaper but thats only a couple of days' light surface rust on the face there from a bit of exposure.
- EJ power steering lines had the rack ends chopped off and MY ones attached today ($15 cash, bargain job!), the lines are now in the buggy and tightened onto the rack.
Maybe tomorrow I'll mess around making the adaptor plate.

In their infinite wisdom Bunnings no longer supply metric taps over M8 in size so I have to wait till tomorrow to drill and tap the holes at the top.

Benny yer thats just a single range 4spd that was lying in my yard (Tristan you lazy bastard!). Using it as a template to make the plate.
I couldn't be bothered removing the dualrange 4spd from Buggy, may aswell leave it in there and just fit the motor to it when I'm ready.
Yer at most I'll test drive it up the cul-de-sac for a while....but shes definitely not going offroad until the roll cage is welded in.

Just picked up the clutch today and got a metric tap for doing the threads on the adaptor plate.
Might have a crack at fitting the motor this arvo then.

Nah its okay - put her on a flat road and she's straight.
But yeh, no offroading until theres some bracing!
