G'day all,
Well, I've decided to start a thread that simply has photos of Ruby Scoo in it - where we can all talk about the photos and what's going on in them/or what's happening around them. We'll see how it goes anyway.
And yes, this thread should show how much I do love my subaru - you might think it as being a bit full of myself, maybe it is, but that's not the idea of this thread!
A couple of recent ones:
Ruby Scoo back on the road:
This image "celebrates" Ruby Scoo's return to "one piece" and on the road again. I'm looking forward to going offroad with a crew again! This image is in the high country, Danny's Lookout as is this one:
Mt Feathertop:
Today on the scenic route home:
Memorial of Australia's first controlled flight in 1910 near Mia Mia in Central Victoria.
Lake Eppalock after re-filling in 2011 after hitting an all time low of 5% a couple of years earlier:
I hope you enjoy this thread!
Cheers
Bennie

Thanks mate!
Here is how I found Ruby Scoo this morning:
Good times in the snow, I'm going to miss it this season, I've just been lucky enough to be up here for a while in the pre season.

Totally going to miss it! But been lucky enough to spend a good amount of pre-season time up here
Last sunday after some snow thursday night/friday and friday night:
I'm missing it already... specially mucking around in it - still super keen to get some circle work video in the snow
I did get lucky on the way off the mt sunday night - I hit some black ice, I didn't think about it when I saw it and kept accelerating, got all 4 sliding towards the guard on the edge of the road, the only thing saving us was the dry bitumen before we got to the guard rail - it still kicked the subi around a bit! But we were safe.
Cheers

Mt Cole last weekend - it was great to have Ruby Scoo out there finally!
Taking a wrong line:
Hanging with Tweety and the H6 Dulagurl:
Found this old growth tree on the side of one of the tracks:
^ I'd love to have seen pre-european settlement in Australia, this is what we would have seen much, much more of in the forests all over the place! I consider myself lucky to have seen this fine example!
On a side track headed home - had to check out some wind generators, unfortunately those pics didn't turn out so well
Cheers

Funny that!
Here's a couple more from the last trip - Wimmera River starting at Mt Cole where the wimmera begins and ending on Wirrengren Plain (dry lake):
Ruby Scoo performed flawlessly and the trip was awesome. It just needed to be about a week longer I reckon! More great times out in her. Now I really need to give her a clean inside and out...
Cheers

I'm itching to get out on some tracks - I know a couple of mates are out there now and it's killing me on the inside! But I've got other things that need tending to first.
