Conversion advice

Flame me if must be.....but....
Where can one purchase the conversion plate to fit EJ20 or EJ22 to a MY 5 speed gearbox mated to an EA81 currently in a Brumby.

Make one needs to be 12mm thick I'm pretty sure just use the box/engine as a template. Or get one from byb but apparently sometime you have to mod them anyway so I have read.. There are threads out there I was reading one just the other day

whack up a want thread, likely to be nfinished projects sitting about or someone finally gone full EJ box as well.

As for MY5 speed - they were only FWD. You must have L Series 5 speed 4WD box ?? Sometimes refered to as a 10 speed by one car magazine back in the day

nope you will still need an adaptor plate. the other course of action is to get a forester 1:47:1 dual range box and matching diff (must have male stubs or the female cvs ) then make your own gearbox crossmember.
