Howdy,
About to drop my new brumby radiator into the shop to get the mods done for the ej conversion. Does anyone have any good pics of a modded radiator. I've searched and searched and googled but haven't been able to come up with any descend and clear pictures.

The local radiator guy hasn't perfected the English language to well, so to avoid disappointment and rooting my new radiator, I want to give him a few good pictures so he knows exactly what I'm after.

The only thing I think needs to be done is to enlarge the inlet/outlets to 40mm or there abouts - basically match it to the stock EJ pipe size.

Or you can use a Brumby hose between the rad outlets and the EJ hose - just make sure you have very good clamps to do this ;)

Cheers

From my understanding the lower radiator inlet opening needs to be re-positioned so its faces down so you can get the radiator hose on due to the cam covers getting in the way.

The upper radiator outlet could be left as it is, its really a matter of finding the right combinations of hoses to get it to work.

both upper and lower openings need to be changed to 38mm, the upper one can be a straight opening or a 45 or 90 degree angle. The lower opening needs to be a 90 degree angle pointing down (if you have a lift kit).

here are pictures of my radiator inlet and outlet in my brumby. It has a 2 inch lift kit.

If you haven`t had it done yet, take it to dennis at western suburbs radiators in sumner park. He knows exactly what needs to be done.
