MY / Brumby Radiator Question

Post by preno » Sun Jun 21, 2015 10:42 am

Will a brumby radiator in good condition be suitable for a N/A ej25 for cooling?

Radiator looks to be in good condition.

Cheers,

Matt

Yep wont be a drama. I know of 2 EJ turbo powered Brumbys that had the standard radiator in them, with no cooling difficulty.
The Brumby I am building now is N/A EJ powered and I have put in the standard Radiator.
I just had the inlet and outlets changed to 36mm and had them pointed in the direction of the engine inlet/outlets.
Cheers,
John

Yes I have a standard brumby radiator with EJ size and oriented outlets in my EJ22 brumby. In winter I unplug the constant thermo fan as the radiator is very efficient. I have a switched thermo for backup in case I actually sit in traffic.

one of these would not go astray, they are relatively easy to modify for the EJ hoses if you want to do that.

they are all made in the same chinese factory , but the 3 I have used from various ebay sellers have all been good quality
