Yes

it has been sold but I'm happy too that it didn't get stripped or worse.

The new owner is a work colleague of John (wagonman) and I'm sure we'll see the grey warrior back on the beach soon enough.

Great car, great idea, great build and great to see plenty of nice people out there willing to lend a hand. I'm inspired to start modding my outback.

I do have a vortex shell thats covered and waiting for a STI WRX conversion but not sure when that will happen:)

Hey Guyph, I never realized at the time, I think your EJ25 was the later model with AVCS - no wonder it packed so much more of a punch than the EJ22. I've driven a few motors with avcs now and does seem to make a pretty noticeable difference!

Yep.. his engine was from a 99-00 Lancaster which is DOHC with AVCS on the inlet side. Also has a lot more efficient intake manifold. Shame someone else is getting good use out of it

Ohhh well. And yes Owen is enjoying the car. I still see it once about a week when i drive past the workshop he works at.. He is taking good care of it:)

Owen works with Wagonman (John), so I'm sure we'll see more of this car again this summer. Not sure if it will be driven quite like the previous owner, so doubt it will be doing too much hardcoring
