From the second link you sent me
Guy I would love to put my subaru collection (3.72 gig) on a server and have it free to the board but copyright is a nasty demon to deal with.

Mind you 90% of what I have is on this server already :)

Good to see Dr Urabus can have the code 38 problem fixed

You should be able to do this yourself.. just look at the EA wiring loom for the EFI ECU and workout what colour wire goes to the tacho.. then attach it to the tacho sense from the EJ ECU (I'm sure Dave would have left this one marked for you)

You're not the only one.. can't wait till the twins are out and about

Well Dave could not identify the tacho wire from the ECU as he had no manual. The wire from behind the dash is known and labeled as we had previously used it with the ej22. The problem is finding what wire on the ECU is the tacho and speed sensor:S

Ok Guys well today i've done a few other things. basically tidy up stuff.

I mounted the Ecu using the std bolt points. I was lucky that the EJ casing had holes exactly where i needed them so no zip tie was involved. Tucked in all the wires as best i could and made sure the test plugs were hidden but easily accessible:)

I finished up the dash etc

Also fitting the engine cover. Pretty sure i'll have to take it out soon for more fiddling around but just had to bolt it in:D

How is it with the Momo wheel in there?

No hate here...

I wouldn't go ALL red like this:

But maybe the 2 intake runner raised bits (what he left white painted red & the rest black):

That Momo is the best, It came with the front cut, another bonus:) I prefer so much the std Momo than those silly cheap after market shit. I had to drill two holes to fit the two indication sticks that cancel when the wheel comes back and taper the hole a bit as the L shaft is thinker after the splines. But i didn't touch the splines and they are a perfect match:) Also had to add the horn ring so the horn would work. In all it was 10mins of mods, quite easy to do:)#

Lol you shouldn't have shown me those pics..., give me ideas:) Maybe i'll do this in the vortex:D nah i'll leave it as is. Oh, i hope you know i was only kidding about the hater comment:)

I'm happy, this proves i'm not the only part painter:p

You were welding without gloves

I assume someone else was welding - easily done - I almost did the same thing last week but at the last minute realised what I was doing and let it fall.

Car looks fantastic - good work.

This was on friday i think at the exhaust shop. I was helping him and holding the canon up. It suddenly fell and i tired to catch it but set my hand right where he had just welded:s Oh well, shit happens. its starting to dry and get better now:p

I'm 99% sure they would have used the same colour wire as per the Outback model. Just a thought :)
