I'd rather it sold to a new owner rather than stolen/stripped/burnt out/written off.

Cheers

Bennie
Yes :( it has been sold but I'm happy too that it didn't get stripped or worse.

The new owner is a work colleague of John (wagonman) and I'm sure we'll see the grey warrior back on the beach soon enough.

TOONGA
He may have but was it the bass/copper radiator that he had in the L before the aluminium one?

Hey Guy.

I just read all 41 pages at once.
Great car, great idea, great build and great to see plenty of nice people out there willing to lend a hand. I'm inspired to start modding my outback.
What is your next project?

Hey Guyph, I never realized at the time, I think your EJ25 was the later model with AVCS - no wonder it packed so much more of a punch than the EJ22. I've driven a few motors with avcs now and does seem to make a pretty noticeable difference!

Yep.. his engine was from a 99-00 Lancaster which is DOHC with AVCS on the inlet side. Also has a lot more efficient intake manifold. Shame someone else is getting good use out of it ;)

Not yet but hopefully not for long.

Owen works with Wagonman (John), so I'm sure we'll see more of this car again this summer. Not sure if it will be driven quite like the previous owner, so doubt it will be doing too much hardcoring ;)
