Thanks Bumpty ...
As for the extended rear - all in good time, got to finish this one yet ...
Progress has slowed since last time I looked, do hope to get a sponsor on board sooner or later though.

Update ...
Time for a bit of an update, as it's been a while since I've worked on this ...
Took the paper model out for its first showing the other day :
Didn't win anything but ...
Was doing some research on an updated front end, something like the look of the 'KenStyle' as shown elsewhere on here.
Might see if I can get them loaded up on the model ...
P.S. - I may also have found a willing hand to make the full size prototype ...
Will post more when I have something concrete confirmed ...

Did you win the lotto mate??
Looks like a good bit if merchandise there!
Updated front end could be interesting. Have you thought about extending the tub to have a bit more of a rear overhang and a more useful tub?
Next could be a 4 door variant with longer wheel base to keep the rear end in the middle of the tray
Just thoughts though, I an only imagine the effort needed to produce anything like this!
Cheers
Bennie

Re: 3D Printer ...
The 3D printer came with basic assembly instructions & there's a on line site ... TBA.
Haven't added up the total cost, but the main part was around $400 mark. Will have to do a break down to see where I'm at.
The goal here is to be able to print with ABS/PETG for the more unobtainable model components. ( Light buckets, Door mirrors, etc. )
Next step in finishing the Tamyia XV Ute model is to get all the printed parts finalised & get some painting done.

Looks like the kind of car you'd work on when it's too cold and wet outside for the real thing
Good stuff Bantum, watching with interest.
