Put an order in for 80,000 of them and I am sure Fuji will build them for you. I guess, if like the MY Brum build lasted 10 years without much change, only 8,000 units a year on average to shift around the world ! Get Fuji to take on a walk in walk out on an assembly line in Melbourne or Adelaide ,,,,,

Remember what I said about getting Toyota to re-badge one of their cars as a Subaru brumby
I think this concept hilux would fit the bill quite nicely.
Would love to have the skills to do this in what ever program they used.

Manufactured in Australia ...
Ah - if it were Toyota made, then it wouldn't be a Subaru ( No Boxer, etc ) ...
Although it would be interesting to see Toyota 'partner' Subaru for their 'manufacturing' in Australia, they just have to get low paid workers ...
Now there's something to consider ...

Keep the Union under control and they might just stand a chance, Holden was doomed to die with the strangle hold the Union had on them.Bantum wrote:Ah - if it were Toyota made, then it wouldn't be a Subaru ( No Boxer, etc ) ...

Toybaru ...
From my understanding the BRZ is not 100% all Subaru, more so the other way round -TOONGA wrote:... So the BRZ isn't a Subaru ... ?
I'd say the '86 is the 're-badged' Subaru ...
Yeah, possibly - although I'd think it's more a case of current world economics coming into effect ...Subyroo wrote:... Keep the Union under control and they might just stand a chance ...
Don't see it getting any better too ... !
Add : got some more bits to aid construction for my project :
Note : Yes got a set of scales as well ( have make the mixes consistent )

Next bit ...
Ok - I've done some more work :
I've made the rear 'pug' out clay to form up the Ute tray, etc. :
& prepped it for the next cast :
Drying off :
& removed from mould :
Split the Pug from it & Ta Da ... a ute appears !
Still a bit rough & will need some finishing to smooth out, but looks OK ...
I'm Happy with it, will keep at it as there is still a bit more to go yet ...
