G’day Mark,

I couldn’t get an ECU for you at pick a part. There were two Gen2s - one manual one auto. The manual one was “the target” but someone already pulled the ECU out of it. I grabbed the one from the auto but it turned out to be obviously different with different plugs etc.

I called Subarino Auto Electric who knows about these things and he said I’d need a photo of your ECU to ensure I get the exact same one.

It’ll be some time (read: very long time) before I’m back in the parts yards as I’m pretty sorted for now. There was one yard I didn’t make it to, I don’t know if they had a Gen2 there as I had not had the time to go look, and their website is very clunky last time I checked their stock.

Sorry to get your hopes up. Fingers crossed you get one somewhere cheap enough that it’s worth the shot.
