My Rwd Subaru

Post by Gudni F » Wed May 13, 2009 4:32 am

Hello. :)

I sold my L-series in the beginning of this year and got myself að Suzuki. After i had owned the Suzuki for some time I wanted a Subaru again so I bought a 1991 Subaru Brat. :p

After a very fun playing time on the Brat with the 4wd I wanted to do something I have never done before, make it rear wheel drive.
My plan is to paint it black this summer and probably put an EJ22 in it.

Here are some pics of me burning rubber on the Brat.

- remove front driveshafts (leave outers)
- put it in 4x4
- rev it up, dump the clutch, lean on the brakes abit, steer around abit

Hello again!

I decided the otherday to make a rally car out of my Brat. I've already taken the interior that I don't need out of it and I've also taken the EA81 rubbish and throw it in the garbage

I'm going to put an EJ20 in it.(there is special group in the Icelandic rally championship for cars that have 4x4 and up to 2.0L engine and no turbo)

Sorry about my writing, im not that good in other languages. :)

Here are some pictures of the work, I'll keep you updated when something happens. ;)
