Got a question.

What the best grade and type of engine oil for a standard naturally aspirated 2.2 EJ22 motor????

Thanks.

Everyone has different opinion here, my Liberty always used Castrol Magnetic 10/40w since new.. Depends what you're comfortable and give a few oils a run to be comfortable with...

and my pick is Penrite. Australian company, and they only make good stuff. HPR oils are also better than many others in high temperatures (it's not quite as simple as just being thicker).

Probably HPR10 or HPR15 for the lib.

when I buy a second hand car I try to find out from the owner what they used and continue to use the same oil a mechanic once told me when you change the oil brand the engine gunk can build up in all the wrong places (usually from synthetic to mineral or vice versa)

otherwise I use castrol 20w 40 or 20 w 50

Wondering. To a question to yous who have done this where there cars,

Where the best place/s to go to completely recondition my Liberty?

Like Strip the car, fix all the loose shit, re-pain, maybe even a newer engine as well as other various modifications.

Thank:D

Where can you find blueprints of Subys online (so I can see boot space etc)?
