Impreza pulling to the left..

Post by Porty » Sun Jul 19, 2009 10:35 pm

I need some advice... My 02 impreza is pulling to the left when i drive in a straight line.. And has been for a while.. Its chewing the outside of the front left tyre and the inside of the front right tyre.. And driving me insane...

Its been to two tyre shops for an alignment, firt shop they said the front wasn't to bad, and they aligned it and all was good... A few days later it was doing the same thing, pulling to the left..

Second shop i told them about the problem, they said yeah no worries... When i picked the car up they said the front was fine but did an alignment on the rear.. Still no fix...!

Has anyone had this problem or has any ideas what i should look for.. like rotating tyres, or something it the steering, wheel bearings, bushings..??

Any help is appreciated...
Thanks

It has been well known for Subarus to have that kind of issues.. I also have the same problem with my Liberty and planned to go to 3rd different tyre place this week to get checked out again....
I spoke to someone and he said get the bushes checked even the linkages etc to see if the rubbers are still in good condition - thats something i need to do before 3rd wheel alignment.
Cheers

Did they give you a print out of the wheel alignment? I'd be interested to know what the specs are.
