Trailing arm mounts price?
Hey folks,
Subaru frankston quoted me $65 per mount for the ob trailing arm mounts needed for lib lifted suspension mods. Most of the threads i've seen on here had them priced around $35-45... is this just outdated and they're now stupid expensive?
Anyone on here than can help me out with a decent price? I'm strapped given the engine work i've just done. Please PM if you can help.
Part numbers are 20520AC030 RHS, 20520AC040 LHS.
thanks,
Owen.

I made my own out of 25 X 50mm alloy blocks, go to an aluminum welding factory & see if they have some scraps, cost me $80 for everything you see in this pic including cutting. Enough to raise every point on the back end with one of the bigger bits & the flat bar left over.
For the trailing arms I just used a 25X50X50 on the end with one bolt & the one in the pic on the other end that has 2 holes, you should be able to do it for less than $20 provided you can cut & drill it, works perfect & is legal.
Good thing is you can make them as thick or thin as you like.

Correct me wrong.. aren't forester mounts are same as liberty? (that what subaru told me when I was enquiring about it) and outback ones are different? (taller and hole is in different location.)daza wrote:I paid $52 each for different model Forester mounts...

I've got the same stuff under every mounting point on the rear end with 2" longer struts, works ok for me, might be better if it's 30mm thick on the trailing arms.vincentvega wrote:thats great if you dont have a body lift, but if you do you need the outback mounts
