I get good kms out of them and they handle very well in both wet & dry conditions, are quiet on the road and are reasonably priced for me.
However, I'm sorry but I can't help you if you go off-road at all.

Ya well both' I was thinking of run two sets of wheels, I will have one set with road tyres and another set with off-road tyres:mrgreen:Trillian wrote:Off road or on road? I use to run Bridgestone Dueller ATs which I found to be the best compromise between on and off road for my use.

I did a lot of search of a tyre for my Outback as one could see from another thread; I evaluated the passenger (=on-road) tyres as well.
It came out from my search for people's opinions that the best-handling best-bang-for-buck passenger tyres which would fit my car (205/70R15) would be Michelin Energy XM1+, Yokohama C.drive, Pirelli P4 or P4000, and some Kumhos.*

The OP may also want to consider buying the newly-released tyre Pirelli Scorpion Verde All-Season.
The picture of the tyre is here.
It looks like a replacement of the Scorpion STR model, which was an on-road tyre. "Verde" is green in Italian, which signifies that less energy was spent for manufacture of the tyre, and it has less rolling resistance (and thus less of fuel consumption). This does not make me compelled to buy the tyre
.
I was struggling whether I should buy a Michelin Latitude Tour HP or Cooper CS4 now, or wait for this Pirelli Verde tyre for couple of months, but I learnt the tyre comes in the sizes 16-20", and this ruled out my wheels. Phew, what a relief.

If the 01 model has the 15inch rims its a bit of a bitch but I am currently running (2nd Set now on a 00 model) of coopers atr 205/70r15 and yeh you get what u pay for approx $220 a tyre shop around though. Tough tyre never had a puncture and you get big mileage out of these tyres being a bit harder compound they wont b as good on the road but i have never had a problem. Really difficult getting a muddie in 15 inch unfortunately but still looking.
