but you are right they arent the best looking out, maybe a spray of black would make them look half normal.

oh and thanks for the pic, waiting to see how much Jarred wants to flog them off for, if cheap then i may

alrighty so picked up these sexy rims today, thoought i would give them a crack and if i dont like them then flog them off.
only had time to put one side on today but pretty happy with how they sit and there is a bit of room to put a bigger tyre in there with minimal if any chopping at all(maybe front guard). The current tyre is a 205/65R15, not sure what it would convert to in a 14" but yeah. they just arent the same as sunraysia's i know
first pic is front

this is rear

and the money shot.....

they are a bit skanky and dirty now, so i understand if you think the car looks like an old mans station wagon BUT i will get them cleaned and give them a spray to see if i like them transformed.

I think they look good but I got used to them when Possum rallyed them. I'll do the conversion to 14"s and let you know

so primed the rims up the other night after giving them a spray with the high prssure hose and some degreaser stuff.

did a couple of coats of that then when i dried i got a couple of cans of flat black and gave it a whirl, this is after the first coat, since then i have applied the second and waiting for them to dry.

i reckon they look better than before now, was actually contemplating spraying them white like sunraysia's but though black may look pretty mean.

ok. put the new shoes on her today.
atleast it looks better than before and i gained about another 2cm of clearance. hopefully getting some new at's in the next couple of days through Mike so that will be even better.
Probably going with 215/75R15.
also might try and suss out some black caps for the centre

Ok.. sounds good Scott but you'll need to update the links to your pictures as they say they are moved or deleted

well got some new shoes for the girl today

they just scrape on the guards but are a good size after all. driving home and it kept on hitting the rear mudflaps so had to stop under halfway home to take them off and then crawl home.
Made some minor adjustments at home tonight with the hack saw to get me by til the weekend.
big ups to Clarkey for his helo on the tyres. top job
