Just wondering if springs/shocks from Gen1 Liberty Auto Wagon will fit into Gen2 Manual wagon. Assuming there is no difference auto/manual.
Just asking cos I want to renew the suspension and can get a second hand pedders shocks/springs set for $250.
ALSO:
Wanting to stiffen up the rear swaybar. Have learnt that the bar for the outback is 19mm and liberty 16mm I'm wondering if I can get a used part and save on an aftermarket one.
Any thoughts?
James
Will it fit? - GenI Lib shocks/springs into GenII and Outback rollbar into Lib

Struts will fit but not the hats.
Automatic/manual struts are both the same.
You can use outback sway bar in your liberty - no problems and worth it as i noticed the difference in my liberty as well.
Cheers
