When i used it i just added maybe 300 or 400ml to the bowl water before going to work or last thing at night. No scrubbing, no draining, zero effort. Went through 2 or 3 bottles but home brand vinegar is cheap as chips ;)

Half a bottle of vinegar and let sit for 24 hours, bit of scrubbing and 90% of it flaked off.

Second half a bottle and another 24 hours later, a light scrub with the brush and it all gone.

I nominate Jono as the king of cleaning johns

We have the same crusty toilet bowl issue too. I have acquired some Chemical cleaner (dont know the name) and was advised to let it sit in the bowl for a few hours and all would be sweet (so to speak). Plan B was to empty the bowl and fill it with Coke. This stuff will clean anything so imagine what it would do to your stomach. Anyway seems vinegar is the go so we may try that first.
Open Slather in a Subaru forum to clean a toilet. Gotta love that !!

Thanks Gannon , but if you read through the posts you will find the crown goes to TOONGA

* Note to PR dept, we will need a photo of King TOONGA on his throne when all this gets out !! :)

$1.09 for two litres of vinegar , must be a bit cheaper than Coke. Maybe you should try Coke for same 24 hours and report back

Had to be here in open slather. was not gonna wait for mythbusters to do it

I have a 2nd toilet that also needs doing, just have to wait for the cistern block to be used up.

I'll give the cheap home brand Cola a go
