a standard brumby tank which according to the FSM is 55 litres and as per my filling methods there is always a couple of mm on the fuel gauge when I fill up. and remember that 500+ is from a analogue device that is + or - 2km/h minimum inaccurate when newsteptoe wrote:what size 'tank' are you getting 500km to ?![]()

to go by the litres/100km method I put in 31 litres and traveled 340 km (city and hwy)
L/100km = number of Litres x 100 / number of kilometres.
(31x100) /340= usage
3100 / 340 = 9.1176470588235294117647058823529
and considering I like to upset bigger 4wds, ford and commodore drivers at sets of lights I'm pretty happy with that
if I drive like a council worker on his way to the job the economy is way better
