High beam HID

How to fix gremlins & general maintenance issues ...

Hmm maybe i should go 55W then. It stands to reason that they wouldn't get any hotter than 55W halogens. If more of the 55W of energy is turned into light with the HID than heat compared to halogens, it seems like 55W HID shouldn't get any hotter than 55W halogens which come as stock in the OB.

Yeah what the hell. I'm sure it wont do any harm to the reflector, if it does damage to the plastic housing of well lesson learnt and nothing a trip to the wreckers cant fix.

Cheers for the help guys. It seems like HID's are a topic of uncertainty for many so hopefully this is helpful to others too.

Yeah i reckon i'd go 55W if i had a separate high beam
