Shows how little room there is between the tyre and the bottom guard, this rubs if you corner and hit potholes

This photo shows how the tyre was digging into the plastic splash guard on the front.

Na mine didn't either when I got them a few months agowombataaron wrote:btw, did your geolanders come with the white writing on the side? I was upset when mine didn't yesterday so i just ordered a white tyre marker off ebay haha
Yeah one of my mates with a 03 (same gen, colour and bullbar) as yours has a similar issue. He want 3+ inch of lift under the whole car but the rear suspension is a pain in the @ss.wombataaron wrote:Its getting raised springs and 35mm strut top spacers, i wanna go more strut height without doing the body lift but can't cause of the rear suspension binding up:(
Yeh, i really wanna go more lift but i don't wanna **** up the cars suspension and have dramas with cvs and camber etc, plus insurance tootaza wrote:Yeah one of my mates with a 03 (same gen, colour and bullbar) as yours has a similar issue. I currently have raised springs and 1" strut lift blocks in the foz and its good. If it wasn't for insurance I would go 2" strut lift, raised springs and 2" body lift. Plus bigger tyres. Something stupid like 6" lift then but 2.5" is enough for now
You won't be disapointed with the lift your choosing on doing! But you can never have enough.

By strut tops do you mean spacers? $200 sounds pretty good. Are they offset to allow for camber?wombataaron wrote:Raised springs, no reason really Bodge is making them up for $200 for the set, seems to be the cheapest price i could find unless you know better?:P
What bushes do you mean?RSR 555 wrote: Also may pay to have wheel alignment and bushes checked.
That's pretty much what i wanna dowombataaron wrote:Its getting raised springs and 35mm strut top spacers, i wanna go more strut height without doing the body lift but can't cause of the rear suspension binding up:(

About $300 delivered. A few people have em & are very happy but they're 1" not 2"wombataaron wrote:Yeah spacers i mean, how much do subtle charge for a set posted? Bodge isn't replying to my PM's and i want the lift done soon so my tyres don't rub anymore:p
+1 I have them, they are 25mm high along with my raised springs(25mm front and 30mm at the rear) and larger tyres gives me 70-75mm of lift under everything. Really makes a huge difference. Plus going 3" or more strut lift is doable in most Subies but then CV's start to take quite abit wear. But if you have the money to keep replacing CV's and/or boots its well worth it.nachaluva wrote:About $300 delivered. A few people have em & are very happy but they're 1" not 2"
