The car is a scratch build with quite a mixture of bits, TX Gemini front end and column, escort rack, Corolla 1.8L 1ZZFE, Supra gearbag, Forester turbo 4.1 LSD and an IRS based on AE86 Corolla front end.
The sticker was my entrant number for our nationals at Tanunda in November and also the associated hill climb at Collingrove that was unfortunately called off because of the total fireban, being a CAMS sanctioned and run event we had to have the firies and ambos present and they couldn't stay.
Currently on Vic club plates while I wait for the RMS ( RTA ) here in Sydney to finalise my rego which should happen by the end of January. The engineering report has been submitted along with the relevant blue slip and request for VIN paperwork and I am assured that the guy handling it has it as his first job when he returns from leave on the 9th.
As for performance, currently it is a bit slow because of the restrictive inlet and exhaust tracts and the emissions tune but with the track exhaust and pod filter I have seen 170 in 3rd on the track and it all happens very quickly.
I've not had it on the track on sticky tyres yet only crappy rock hard Pirelli's and still do fairly consistent 1:18 at Wakey, with a proper tune, R spec tyres
and a bit of tweaking of the ECU and shocks it should be quite a bit quicker.
107Kw in 640Kg with a 3.5Kg flywheel adds up to some fairly serious fun:mrgreen:
