That looked like so much fun. Was it someone's private track? I've never done a hillclimb but if I ever have a car worthy again I certainly will. There's something bout going hard uphill that gets the adrenalin going yet feels safe, whereas going downhill my testicles shrink :(
It's Collingrove Hill Climb in the Barossa Valley and going up hill there is not entirely safe as there are some huge boulders in the grass towards the top.

Didn't get above 2nd and about 100Kph, the record up that hill is held by Peter Gumley at 28 seconds, so a full 20 secs quicker than my time which is amazing when you consider the track is only 600m long. ( wings and slicks F1 type car though )

I'm hoping there is only one Barossa Valley.
I might have to visit the track some time!

I guess you dont see the boulders till too late lol. Surprised they dont have tyre barriers around em like they did with the trees.

20sec faster? Crikey! Like to see his number plate! :p

Saw these the other day , could only be for a Subaru - originally ?

They were on a tidy black Land Rover - caretaker ?

In Ascot, near the Eagle Farm Racecourse there's a brand-spankin' Porsche with 'DIRT' as the plates.
There's a real schmick Nissan 180SX in Strathpine with 'THE 180'
WRX getting around Morayfield a while ago with 'SIKEM' (rex, I assume)

'89 Brumby "Emma"
'89 Brumby "Brumbylicious"
'03 Outback "Uma"
'05 Forester

Must really be my turn to find a cheap SVX - spotted a real nice green one with nsw plates SVX42K on same road as the SVX666 plates above ! As it passed me a second time (oblivious to an L GLTA beside it) at 100 k was just wind noise in the tyre treads - so quiet :)

Saw in Narangba the other day, probably 2000 model WRX STi with "QIK STI"
Pretty sure it's been mentioned before here too.

Also, I doubt it was actually a 22B but there was a WRX in Albion the other day with "228 STI" Assuming the 228 was for 22B

Lol

A while ago Vicroads clamped down on personalised no plates, esp those with "suggestive" messages when viewed in the rear view mirror. I dont think they have a sense of humour! :(

I know of a vehicle with the plates ZIT 666. I'd hate to be that kid!

I'm sure there's still a sick WRX getting around Perth with the plates "4MUFF" - you can look him up here but I don't think he's been around for some time!

There's an early 2 door WRX STi on my way to work that's got the plates STII that I though was rather cleaver!

While in Coral Bay I spotted a Tribeca with the personalised plates "Stralia" - I failed to get a pic though :(

Cheers
