Must have credit by now? Tell us all about it :)

Anyway, what's this about not being paid as much as you hoped? Did they not sign you up on a contract agreement? Surely that would have been noted but I guess it's a shit load more than work 3 or 4 hours a week like before.

think that expression is 'ship load' ? Some figures have been quoted on telly this week on a story of the migration towards the mines and the $3000 a week house rents in some parts, and I guess the rent is whether you flew in or out, 3K every week not just while you are out working, but back home too (guess you rent your room out) Some companies claiming they can't get the workers,

12HRS, 12HRS etc I couldn't do it for too long myself

Definately not for everyone but for those that have done it for most of their lives it's no biggy.

I keep buying Lotto tickets but for the money I spent on them, I probably could have retired by now

I was thinking of the white sauna box when the door is opened first off after a warm day :)

Thinking that white is the paint developed for the space shuttle nose cone full of microscopic ceramic spheres reflect about 85% heat ?

Some digitals only go to 50 C !!

thankfully this place has an aircon and while it hasn't been over 40 yet the humidity makes up for it. Hows Tom Price at the moment?

Sung to the tune of spam by Monty Pythons Work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work... I seem to be sleeping better... I hit the pillow and pass out... I'm wondering if I'm losing weight ... I can see my feet without using a mirror... the 5kg bags of ice seem to have gotten lighter... the wheelie bins aren't as heavy as they were the first day I emptied them...

It isn't easy work but I'm enjoying it and the lunatics that are building this resort make for a humorous day. and very loud evenings...

If you know what this is then you have lived in Karratha for too long

It doesn't take much after it's been dry for a while.

I know it is a bit late, but this is what our back yard looked like when Cyclone Iggy rocked past.

Soap jokes are not appreciated here, some days I get refered to as the warden, as I'm forever telling guys to clean up or shut up at night.

I like the tropical look they have gone for with the palm trees.
Ever noticed how after cyclones and tsunamis only the palm trees seem to be left standing?
