What did you do to improve your soobie today
Joining the Brumby Owners Club
Paid for this (and transporter to bring it to Melbourne)
All things being equal should have it within week and half
And hope there isn't too much wrong to get RWC

Started stripping my engine bay wiring.
Will be painting it before the engine goes back in.
Nice Brumby!
Is there a brumby owners club? If not there should be.
Cheers Cam

Took the Thule roof bars off the the foz just now. First time since we bought her last year, on account of the car not coming with the keys for the bars, and only just getting around to walking up the road to the roof rack place at lunch and buying one. $8 for the key by the way if you ever <strike> wanna steal thule roof bars</strike> need to replace one.
She looks kinda naked without them, but doing several hundred kays over the next couple of days, so figured I'd reduce some drag.

Tried to find a short circuit that is frying my 15A fuse for taillight illuminator. Couldn't find it yet.
My speedometer won't light up anymore either.
I don't want to get a ticket for it, and I've already been let off once with a warning.
So for now, my L Series is stuck at home, dash mostly disassmbled and I haven't driven it for days.
I need to fully disassemble my dash, or find a way to replace the speedo light before I can put it back together.

Cheap Grief picked coldest, wettest day so far this year to let its fan blower off the hook due to water leak gaining access down the air cooler tube of the blower assy. Ripped dash panel off to access fan, pulled fan, drained black water, pulled two philips screws to then remove half a peat bog from internals, blew dry, Lanotec'ed it, reassembled, tested , installed and now a toasty environment once again
Funny thing is - never blew a fuse of the three involved!

Is it the turn signal fuse that is blowing or the park light fuse? Normally when the park light fuse goes you lose dash illumination.2nd Hand Yank wrote:Tried to find a short circuit that is frying my 15A fuse for taillight illuminator. Couldn't find it yet.

My08 premium liberty, swc is not std with that model.Cant believe subaru do not have these as std through out the gen 4 range. Also missing the wiring from the steering column to the stereo, so tapped into the wiring from the swc and went straight into the back of the stereo, all buttons work as they should !!!

Went and picked up an L series 5 speed box from our friend at Gepps cross. Just the box, shifter/linkages, cable/pedal and cross member. Thinking I can't be bothered with center bearing carriers and just get my 1 piece tail shaft lengthened, would remove alot of headache but add to cost.
Will it ever end!?
