nah... to get the car over here will and registered in WA will cost $2300.

thats freight, stamp duty, 6 months rego, going over the pits etc etc

No argument with those points mate, I would be picking up to a 99 too, given the choice. Bug eyes are ok with headlight STI/rally lookalike light clusters.

I think the trick buying 2nd hand WRX is one off an old bloke who had his mid life crisis, and left stock, and logbooks or extended warranty.

the one im looking at in qld sounds well maintained, stock, low kms, full service history, bloke doesnt sound too young and is selling car coz he's got a kid on the way, which i spose you could call a mid life crisis :D :D :lol:

im just waiting on more info about the car before i commit or anything. If i can get a good price on the car, it may end up costing the same as buying one over here, and considering i cant find a decent one over here, its looking good

Hey Vidler what do you call " dosn't sound too young" and would you buy a car of me remmembering that I am 46 have 5 kids and four grandkids , that should make me a very sedate driver wouldn't it :twisted: .
