radiator and other upgrades for rally wagon

Post by 96elefant » Wed Sep 05, 2012 10:43 pm

also after radiator upgrades and other suggested upgrades for rally wagon without spending silly money? Its got 14" sunraysia style wheels on it which i have been told not to use as they are too heavy and flog the suspension out quickly when competing! Looking ar a ea 82t engine with a bit of head work I want to keep her as reliable as they are known for. I used to have a touring wagon four kids and two wives ago and consider it to have been probably the best all round vehicle I ever owned.

take the front guards off and look at the upside side right angle formed from the rearmost structure / firewall corner and the top section of the inner guard - a dirty big triangular plate is needed in there to reinforce things a bit.

BMSC may be a place to find a few rally build tips on these babies as well

this document, although rather weather worn and faded, has the technical data for the rx turbo rally mods

https://www.rapidshare.com/files/391435 ... Manual.pdf

it speaks of the triangular plates and other good bits :)
